Yes, we provide off-street parking for up to 7 vehicles. Please avoid parking in the yard. On-street parking is allowed in front of the cement fence during the day. Be cautious when parking near the grass, as it’s a tight turn.
Our property is tobacco-free. Smoking is not allowed inside or outside for cigarettes. Recreational smoking must be done outside, and all evidence must be cleaned up before check-out.
We do not allow parties, events, or gatherings of over 20 people. Outside vendors like caterers or bartenders must be registered in advance. Please also note that the City of North Charleston enforces a noise ordinance from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Eating is not allowed in the pool. Drinks are welcome, but please use plastic cups—no glass bottles. If you eat on the dock, please make sure to clean up and bring all trash back to a garbage receptacle.
Use any garbage cans inside the house during your stay. At check-out, bag all trash and place it in the large city trash can located to the left of the driveway. Please use the bungee cord to keep the lid secure from animals. We also offer recycling bins for glass, plastic, cardboard, and paper. The blue recycling bin is located next to the trash can outside. Trash and recycling are picked up on Thursdays.
The house has a Ring security system. You will be provided with an individual code to lock/unlock the front door. Security cameras are located at the front door, pool area, dock area. The footage will only be reviewed in case of accidents, damage, or injury.
While we welcome babies, toddlers, and children under 12, please note the house is not baby-proofed, and there are risks such as the pool and dock. Parental supervision is required at all times.
Security deposits cover damages up to $2000. If damages exceed this, please notify us immediately. We hope to resolve any issues amicably, but if necessary, we will address the damages through Airbnb. We ask you to treat the house with care, especially the wooden hearth in the living room, which is old and fragile. If damaged, guests will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement. Any damages beyond the security deposit must be paid by the guest and reported to us.
Check-out is at 10:00 am EST, and there are no exceptions. Please leave the home in a neat and orderly fashion to avoid additional cleaning fees. You are also responsible for removing your personal belongings, as the host and owner are not liable for any lost or abandoned items.
